WHAT WE PROVIDE
Playscape Compliance Inspections
Reliance Playscapes offers a variety of safety inspections. Our inspections are conducted in accordance with the Australian Standards AS 4685.0:2017 (Playground Equipment and Surfacing – General Safety Requirements and Test Methods) and AS 4422 (Int):2022 (Impact Attenuating Surfacing).
Each inspection level is designed to ensure playground safety, functionality, and compliance - from daily use through to long-term maintenance.

- Routine Visual Inspection
- Operational Inspection
- Comprehensive Post-Installation Inspection
- Comprehensive Annual Inspection
- Childcare Perimeter and Site Safety Inspection (exclusive to Reliance Playscapes)
Once the inspection of your playscape is complete, we will provide you with a written report detailing any risks and non-compliant fixtures in your outdoor equipment.
Impact Attenuation Testing
Our Impact Attenuation Testing service assesses the safety and ensures the upkeep of your playground surfacing, corresponding with Element 3.1.2 of the National Quality Standard. Soft-fall surfaces are meant to absorb impact and reduce the risk of serious head injuries from falls. In accordance with AS 4685.0:2017 and AS 4422 (Clause 8.5.6), all impact-attenuating surfaces, including those in early childhood education and care (ECEC) services and council playgrounds, must be tested at least every 3 years to ensure they are compliant.
This service includes:

Playscape Design and Project Management Services
Playscape Design
Reliance Playscapes provide in-house playground designs, including a full bill of quantities and tender specifications.
Design Standards
We can create bespoke client design standards, including specifications and schedule of rates.
Project Management
We have in-house project management capability providing turn-key end to end playscape delivery, construction management and compliance. We can assist you with developing procurement policies, and can also tender and project manage work on your behalf.
